Substantial projects supporting community centres, food security, livelihoods, schooling and vocational training for refugees in the region are currently financed by the European Union, including EUR 855 million in humanitarian assistance within Syria, but also in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey.
D'importants projets d'aide aux centres communautaires, à la sécurité alimentaire, aux moyens de subsistance, à la scolarisation et à la formation professionnelle destinés aux réfugiés de la région sont actuellement financés par l'Union européenne, dont 855 millions d'EUR d'aide humanitaire pour la Syrie, mais aussi le Liban, la Jordanie et la Turquie.

Building on the experience gained so far with the current pilot project on relocation from Malta, the Commission will support an extension of this project in view of the current influx of migrants seeking international protection there, to be implemented in close cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Organisation for Migration.
