3. Member States shall recognize evidence of formal qualifications in nursing awarded in Poland, to nurses who completed training before 1 May 2004, which did not comply with the minimum training requirements laid down in Article 31, attested by the diploma "bachelor" which has been obtained on the basis of a special upgrading programme contained in Article 11 of the Act of 20 April 2004 on the amendment of the Act on professions of nurse and midwife and on some other legal acts (Official Journal of the Republic of Poland of 30 April 2004 No 92, pos. 885), and the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 11 May 2004 on the detailed conditions of delivering studies for nurses and midwives, who hold a certificate of secondary school (final examination – matura) and are graduates of medical lyceum and medical vocational schools teaching in a profession of a nurse and a midwife (Official Journal of the Republic of Poland of 13 May 2004 No 110, pos. 1170), with the aim of verifying that the person concerned has a level of knowledge and competence comparable to that of nurses holding the qualifications which, in the case of Poland, are defined in Annex V, point 5.2.2.

Les États membres reconnaissent les titres de formation d'infirmier, délivrés en Pologne aux infirmiers ayant achevé leur formation avant le 1 mai 2004 et qui ne répondent pas aux exigences minimales en matière de formation prévues à l'article 31, sanctionnés par une "licence" obtenue sur la base d'un programme spécial de revalorisation décrit à l'article 11 de la loi du 20 avril 2004 modifiant la loi sur les professions d'infirmier et de sage-femme et concernant certains autres actes juridiques (Journal officiel de la République polonaise du 30 avril 2004, n° 92, pos. 885), et dans le règlement du ministère de la santé du 11 mai 2004 sur les conditions détaillées relatives aux cours dispensés aux infirmiers et aux sages-femmes titulaires d'un certificat d'enseignement secondaire (examen final - matura) et diplômés d'un lycée professionnel médical ou d'établissements d'enseignement professionnel médical formant des infirmiers et des sages-femmes (Journal officiel de la République polonaise du 13 mai 2004, n° 110, pos. 1170), visant à s'assurer que les intéressés ont un niveau de connaissance et de compétence comparable à celui des infirmiers détenteurs du diplôme décrit, dans le cas de la Pologne, à l'annexe V, point 5.2.2.
