It will come as no surprise that the Prime Minister's riding, admittedly a riding with fairly high unemployment, was a significant beneficiary of this Transitional Jobs Fund largesse, nor will it come as a surprise that 75 per cent of the $7 million for his riding arrived in the hands of the grateful recipients just prior to the 1997 election.
