In accordance with Article 5 of Protocol No 22 on the position of Denmark, annexed to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Denmark does not participate in the elaboration and the implementation of decisions and actions of the Union which have defence implications. IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

This report shall contain an analysis of the annual reports referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2, an evaluation of the relevance of the standardisation activities receiving Union financing in the light of the requirements of Union legislation and policies as well as an assessment of potential new measures to simplify the financing of European standardisation and to reduce the administrative burden for the European standardisation organisations.

4. The annual Union work programme for European standardisation shall be adopted after having conducted a broad consultation of relevant stakeholders, including European standardisation organisations and European stakeholder organisations receiving Union financing in accordance with this Regulation, and Member States via the committee referred to in Article 22 of this Regulation.
4. Le programme de travail annuel de l'Union en matière de normalisation européenne est adopté à la suite d'une vaste consultation des parties prenantes concernées, y compris des organisations européennes de normalisation et des organisations des parties prenantes européennes recevant un financement de l'Union conformément au présent règlement, ainsi que des États membres via le comité visé à l'article 22 du présent règlement.

2. The decisions referred to in paragraph 1 shall be adopted in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 22(3) after consultation of the European standardisation organisations and the European stakeholder organisations receiving Union financing in accordance with this Regulation as well as the committee set up by the corresponding Union legislation, when such a committee exists, or after other forms of consultation of sectoral experts.

Les décisions visées au paragraphe 1 sont adoptées conformément à la procédure définie à l'article 22, paragraphe 3, après consultation des organisations européennes de normalisation et des organisations des parties prenantes européennes recevant un financement de l'Union conformément au présent règlement ainsi que, s'il existe, du comité créé par la législation correspondante de l'Union ou après avoir utilisé d'autres formes de consultation des experts sectoriels.

2. In addition to the collaboration with market surveillance authorities in the Member States, research facilities of the Commission and the European stakeholder organisations receiving Union financing in accordance with this Regulation, European standardisation organisations shall encourage and facilitate appropriate representation, at technical level, of undertakings, research centres, universities and other legal entities, in standardisation activities concerning an emerging area with significant policy or technical innovation implications, if the legal entities concerned participated in a project that is related to that area and that is funded by the Union under a multiannual framework programme for activities in the area of research, innovation and technological development, adopted pursuant to Article 182 TFEU.
2. Outre leur collaboration avec les autorités de surveillance des marchés dans les États membres, avec les centres de recherche de la Commission et avec les organisations des parties prenantes européennes recevant un financement de l'Union conformément au présent règlement, les organisations européennes de normalisation encouragent et facilitent une représentation appropriée, au niveau technique, des entreprises, des centres de recherche, des universités et des autres entités juridiques dans les activités de normalisation concernant tout domaine émergent ayant d'importantes répercussions sur le plan politique ou sur le plan de l'innovation technique, lorsque les entités juridiques concernées ont pris part à un projet lié audit domaine et financé par l'Union au titre d'un programme-cadre pluriannuel concernant des activités dans le domaine de la recherche, de l'innovation et du développement technologique, adopté en vertu de l'article 182 du traité sur le fonctionnement de l'Union européenne.

It is necessary to ensure a high level of cooperation between the European standardisation organisations and the European stakeholder organisations receiving Union financing in accordance with this Regulation and the Commission in the establishment of its annual Union work programme for standardisation and in the preparation of requests for standards in order to analyse the market relevance of the proposed subject matter and the policy objectives set by the legislator, and to allow the European standardisation organisations to respond more quickly to the requested standardisation activities.
Il convient de garantir une coopération étroite entre les organisations européennes de normalisation et les organisations des parties prenantes européennes recevant un financement de l'Union conformément au présent règlement et la Commission dans le cadre de la mise en place de son programme de travail annuel de l'Union pour la normalisation et de la préparation des demandes de normes, de façon à analyser l'adéquation au marché du thème proposé et les objectifs de politique générale fixés par le législateur, et à permettre aux organisations européennes de normalisation de répondre plus rapidement aux activités de normalisation demandées.

B. whereas the Agency received Union subsidies of EUR 4 184 040 from the Commission, as well as a pre-financing sum of EUR 500 000 from DG Environment as contractual compensation for undertaking preparatory activities for the Regulation on Biocide Products and IPA pre-financing amounting to EUR 185 676,

The Commission shall evaluate the relevance of the tasks set out in Article 31(4) that receive Union financing in the light of the requirements of Union policies and legislation, and inform the European Parliament and the Council of the outcome of that evaluation by 1 January 2017 and every five years thereafter.

La Commission apprécie la pertinence des fonctions visées à l'article 31, paragraphe 4, bénéficiant d'un financement de l'Union au regard des besoins des politiques et de la législation de l'Union, et informe le Parlement européen et le Conseil du résultat de cette évaluation le 1er janvier 2017 au plus tard, puis tous les cinq ans.
