Notes that there are a number of successful cultural organisations such as European Union Youth Orchestra, the European Union Baroque Orchestra, the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, etc., which the European Parliament has supported through grants over many years; stresses that it is expected that these organisations will continue their activities in the context of a new multiannual financial framework as from 2007 onwards; notes with concern that there is a real danger that these organisations will not be able to continue their activities in 2006 without the provisions of transitional aid to ensure a bridge between the two financial planning periods; therefore, is willing to agree with the Council on sufficient funding to finance these priority actions under such objective and enduring circumstances, through the use of the provision of the Interinstitutional Agreement of 6 May 1999 in particular points 33 and 34 thereof, or through the application of Article 272 TEC;
33. note que, depuis de nombreuses années, il soutient, au moyen de subventions, un certain nombre d'organisations culturelles valables, telles que, notamment, l'Orchestre des jeunes de l'Union européenne, l'Orchestre baroque de l'Union européenne et la Fondation internationale Yehudi Menuhin; souligne qu'il est prévu que ces organisations poursuivront leurs activités dans le contexte d'un nouveau cadre financier pluriannuel à compter de 2007; note avec préoccupation que ces organisations risquent de ne pas pouvoir poursuivre leurs activités en 2006 si on ne leur accorde pas une aide temporaire destinée à faire la transition entre les deux périodes de programmation financière; est donc disposé à convenir avec le Conseil d'un volume de crédits suffisant pour financer ces actions prioritaires dans un tel cadre objectif et à long terme, par le recours aux dispositions de l'accord interinstitutionnel du 6 mai 1999, notamment à ses points 33 et 34, ou par l'application de l'article 272 du traité CE;
