In this regard, I hope that by June we will have something rather more tangible and that we will know precisely what each of us has to do – what the Commission will do, what Parliament will do and what the Member States will have to do.

I want to make it quite clear that during the discussion about the transitional regions we rather lost sight of the fact that we have so much in common in this area, including shared priorities and very substantial proposals for changes in the future direction of the policy, which will make it even more successful, sustainable and visible and more comprehensible and tangible for the citizens of Europe.
Je tiens à faire remarquer très clairement que pendant la discussion portant sur les régions de transition, nous avons quelque peu perdu de vue le fait que nous avons tant de choses en commun dans ce domaine, y compris des priorités communes et des propositions très complètes de changements à apporter à la future orientation de la politique, qui apporteront à celle-ci encore plus de succès et la rendront encore plus viable et visible, mais aussi plus compréhensible et tangible aux yeux des citoyens européens.
