Throughout its history, the UPA has worked hard to achieve a number of things: farm credit, the development of the farm press in Quebec (with its newspaper La Terre de chez nous), the cooperative movement in agriculture, rural electrification, educational development in the rural areas, joint marketing and, of course, the introduction of sustainable agriculture.
Au fil de son histoire, l'UPA a travaillé avec acharnement à de nombreuses réalisations, soit le crédit agricole, le développement de la presse québécoise avec son journal La Terre de chez nous, le coopératisme agricole, l'électrification rurale, le développement éducatif des campagnes, la mise en marché collective et, bien sûr, l'implantation de l'agriculture durable.
