Monsieur le Président, non seulement le budget de 2008 prévoyait une aide importante pour le secteur forestier, mais depuis que nous sommes arrivés au pouvoir, nous avons déjà, à plusieurs reprises, pris des mesures qui bénéficient directement à ce secteur. Nous avons, notamment, ratifié un accord sur le bois d'oeuvre et rétabli l'accès au marché américain, ce qui s'est traduit par un remboursement de plus de 5 milliards de dollars en dépôts douaniers aux producteurs canadiens.
