Recommends that this possibility be made available to other EU financial instruments and repeats its call for a new programmable and predictable pan-African financial package to be established, to be funded by the EDF, the specific DCI instruments, and the European neighbourhood policy instrument with a view to financing and supporting the implementation of the new EU-Africa Joint Strategy;

In order to facilitate more effective support to the Pan-African governance architecture and policy coordination efforts , the EU will explore new avenues to pull Community and Member States funding through an EU fund or through Joint EU contributions to existing financial instruments and trust funds.
Pour soutenir plus efficacement l’ architecture de gouvernance panafricaine et les efforts de coordination politique , l’UE explorera de nouvelles possibilités de mettre des moyens communautaires et des Etats membres à la disposition des instruments financiers et des fonds spécifiques ( fiduciaires) existants par le biais d’un fonds UE ou de contributions UE conjointes.

In line with the strategy outlined in this document, the new financial framework should foster regional, inter-regional and pan-African cooperation and integration.
