In Scotland, there are plans to improve the A71 between Irvine and Kilmarnock and to build a ferry link with Oban, Mull and Colonsay. In Wales, a sliproad will be built on the Cardiff ringroad, and in Northern Ireland, the powerstation at Kilroot, near Belfast, will be converted into a solid fuel/oil fired plant.
En Ecosse, sont prévus l'aménagement de la route nationale A 71 entre Irvine et Kilmarnock et la construction d'un navire transbordeur pour la liaison Oban, Mull et Colonsay ; au Pays de Galles, une bretelle du périphérique de Cardiff et en Irlande du Nord la conversion de la centrale électrique de Kilroot, près de Belfast, en une installation bivalente fonctionnant non seulement au pétrole mais également au combustible solide.
