1. A premium of EUR 22,25 per tonne of starch produced shall be paid for the 2009/2010, 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 marketing years to potato starch manufacturers for the quantity of potato starch up to the quota limit referred to in Article 84a(2), provided that they have paid to potato producers a minimum price for all the potatoes necessary to produce starch up to that quota limit.

Une prime de 22,25 EUR par tonne de fécule produite est versée aux fabricants de fécule de pomme de terre pour les campagnes de commercialisation 2009/2010, 2010/2011 et 2011/2012 pour la quantité de fécule correspondant au maximum du contingent visé à l'article 84 bis, paragraphe 2, à condition qu'ils aient versé aux producteurs de pommes de terre un prix minimal pour toutes les pommes de terre nécessaires à la production de la fécule jusqu'à concurrence de ce contingent.

3. An undertaking producing potato starch shall not conclude cultivation contracts with potato producers for a quantity of potatoes which would produce a quantity of starch in excess of its quota as referred to in paragraph 2.

The system set out in Council Regulation (EC) No 1868/94 of 27 July 1994 establishing a quota system in relation to the production of potato starch will no longer be required once the related aid for starch potato growers laid down in Council Regulation (EC) No 73/2009 of 19 January 2009 establishing common rules for direct support schemes under the Common Agricultural Policy and establishing certain support schemes for farmers is abolished.
