To the ensuing debate here, I would add that Justice Arbour has been actively and publicly engaging in propaganda and rallying public support for her political position on many international matters, including Bill C-40, the new International Criminal Court and even the United States' position on this court.
Aux fins du débat au Sénat, j'ajouterai que la juge Arbour s'est activement et publiquement engagée dans de la propagande afin de recueillir des appuis publics à sa position politique sur une foule de questions internationales, y compris le projet de loi C-40, le nouveau Tribunal pénal international, voire la position des États-Unis sur ce dernier.
