By cooperating in crisis situations and in meeting other foreign policy challenges, we are in fact already preparing the way for the implementation of the foreign policy provisions in the constitutional treaty, thereby also enhancing the European Union’s role in the world, which is what its citizens want, and this is also, quite rightly, stressed in the report.
En coopérant dans des situations de crise et en affrontant d’autres défis de la politique étrangère, nous frayons en réalité d’ores et déjà le chemin à l’application des dispositions du traité constitutionnel sur la politique étrangère, rehaussant ainsi le rôle de l’Union européenne dans le monde, ce qui correspond aux attentes de nos concitoyens, ainsi que le souligne d’ailleurs le rapport à très juste titre.
