This is to be achieved by means of the Euro-Mediterranean Association Agreements negotiated and concluded between the European Union and 9 out of the 12 Mediterranean Partners, together with free trade agreements between the Partners themselves: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia and the Palestinian Authority.
Pour y parvenir, des accords d'association euro-méditerranéens doivent être négociés et conclus entre l'Union européenne et 9 des 12 partenaires méditerranéens, de même que des accords de libre-échange entre les partenaires eux-mêmes (Algérie, Égypte, Israël, Liban, Jordanie, Maroc, Syrie, Tunisie et autorité palestinienne).
