Studies carried out in recent years have highlighted the strong growth potential of the southern fringes of the Mediterranean which are still all too often hampered by an inappropriate institutional and regulatory framework and the lack of structural reform with regard to transport and energy systems and networks, with particularly glaring shortcomings in terms of infrastructures.
Les études menées ces dernières années mettent en évidence les fortes potentialités de croissance de la rive sud de la Méditerranée, encore trop souvent entravées par un cadre institutionnel et réglementaire inadapté et l'absence de réformes structurelles dans le domaine des systèmes et réseaux de transport et d'énergie, aux déficiences particulièrement criantes au niveau des infrastructures.
