As the Leader of the Government said, and I thank her for it, and as many of you know, I have a strong bond of pride and affection for our Paralympians; not just for what they do in competition, which is absolutely outstanding, but also for what they give back by encouraging and supporting young Canadians, particularly those young Canadians with disabilities.
À l'instar de madame le leader du gouvernement, et je la remercie pour ce qu'elle a dit, et comme nombre d'entre vous le savent, j'éprouve une grande fierté et une profonde affection envers nos athlètes des Jeux paralympiques, non seulement pour leurs exploits sportifs, absolument extraordinaires, mais pour ce qu'ils représentent pour les jeunes Canadiens qu'ils encouragent et appuient, surtout ceux et celles qui ont des handicaps.
