My question is one which I asked two days ago, one which I asked yesterday, and one which I am asking again today: How can the Government of Canada detach itself from the police investigation and pretend, and even suggest, that it is in the hands of the police, when we all know that what initiated the investigation was information which was, by his own admission, given to the Minister of Justice last fall and which he then transmitted to the Solicitor General?

Comment le gouvernement fédéral peut-il se dissocier de l'enquête policière et prétendre et même laisser entendre que cette enquête est entre les mains de la police, alors que nous savons tous que ce qui a suscité cette enquête est une information que, de son propre aveu, le ministre de la Justice a reçue l'automne dernier et qu'il a alors transmise au solliciteur général?
