On Saturday, local volunteers led by Sean Wilson of the Remember November 11 Association and Barry Sandler, with support from the Veterans Memorial Parkway community project and area cadets and students, will plant our own Flanders Field in my riding of London—Fanshawe to commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I. The poppy field adjacent to Veterans Memorial Parkway has been prepared for the planting of thousands of poppies.
Ce samedi, des bénévoles locaux, sous la direction de Sean Wilson, de l'association Remember November 11, et de Barry Sandler, avec l'appui du projet communautaire de la Promenade commémorative des anciens combattants et avec l'aide des cadets et élèves de la région, aménageront notre propre champ d'honneur, dans ma circonscription, London—Fanshawe, afin de souligner le centenaire de la Première Guerre mondiale.
