It was important for me, as mayor of Dawson—and this goes back to the invitation you received from my friend Keith Peterson—that the board of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities needed to come to the Yukon—and particularly to northern Yukon—in the winter, and not in the summer, when everybody likes to come play in our backyard.
