The purpose of this Directive is to implement the European Agreement on the organisation of working time of mobile staff in civil aviation concluded on 22 March 2000 between the organisations representing management and labour in the civil aviation sector: the Association of European Airlines (AEA), the European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF), the European Cockpit Association (ECA), the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) and the International Air Carrier Association (IACA).
La présente directive vise à mettre en oeuvre l'accord européen relatif à l'aménagement du temps de travail du personnel mobile dans l'aviation civile, conclu le 22 mars 2000 entre les organisations patronales et syndicales du secteur de l'aviation civile, à savoir l'Association des compagnies européennes de navigation aérienne (AEA), la Fédération européenne des travailleurs des transports (ETF), l'Association européenne des personnels navigants techniques (ECA), l'Association européenne des compagnies d'aviation des régions d'Europe (ERA) et l'Association internationale des charters aériens (AICA).
