In a similar inquiry the Ombudsman conducted into the practices of the European Parliament concerning the hiring of ACIs over 65 years of age, he made a similar draft recommendation to Parliament, as a result of which Parliament accepted his position and changed its practice as regards the hiring of ACIs over 65.
