2. By 16 February 2017, each Member State shall communicate to the Commission, in its official language or languages, that language or those languages being also an official language or official languages of the institutions of the Union, the country-specific entry headings to be included in the multilingual forms relating to birth, a person being alive, death, marriage (including capacity to marry and marital status) and, where applicable, registered partnership (including capacity to enter into a registered partnership and registered partnership status), domicile and/or residence and absence of a criminal record.

I would just like to conclude by saying that my colleague and I have the honour of representing a great bilingual post-secondary institution where Canada's two official languages are on an equal footing; an institution that has a much larger Francophone student population than any other institution outside Quebec; an institution that has implemented a system of French immersion which is unique in Canada and elsewhere in the world; an institution which, using its own resources, recently established an Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute which truly ensures that its expertise in language teaching, research, bilingualism and policy development will be recognized nationally and internationally.
Permettez-moi de conclure en disant que mon collègue et moi avons l'honneur de représenter une grande institution postsecondaire bilingue où les deux langues officielles du Canada sont sur un pied d'égalité; une institution qui accueille une plus nombreuse population étudiante francophone, et de loin, que toute autre institution à l'extérieur du Québec; une institution qui a mis au point un régime d'immersion en français unique en son genre au Canada et ailleurs dans le monde; une institution qui s'est dotée récemment, à même ses ressources, d'un Institut des langues officielles et du bilinguisme lui assurant un rayonnement national et international dans le domaine de l'enseignement des langues, de la recherche, du bilinguisme et du développement de politiques.

One of the results of the strategic plan was the launching of two major initiatives: the French immersion system and the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute, or OLBI. The French as a second language immersion system has been in place since September 2006 in more than 50 programs.
Le plan stratégique a permis de lancer, entre autres, deux initiatives majeures: le régime d'immersion et l'Institut des langues officielles et du bilinguisme, l'ILOB. Le régime d'immersion en français langue seconde est en vigueur depuis septembre 2006 dans plus de 50 programmes.

The request or application form shall be completed in the official language of the requested Member State or, if there are several official languages in that Member State, in the official language or one of the official languages of the place of the Central Authority concerned, or in any other official language of the institutions of the European Union which that Member State has indicated it can accept, unless the Central Authority of that Member State dispenses with translation.
