I should also like, even though I cannot name them all, to mention a few representative people: the President-in-Office, Prime Minister José Sócrates, Foreign Minister Luís Amado, Secretary of State Manuel Lobo Antunes and also, of course, Ambassador Álvaro Mendonça e Moura.

I call upon the Italian government to use the opportunity afforded by the sad death of Queen Marie-José to fulfil its legal obligations to the European Union and grant the two male princes the same rights as every other Italian citizen and let them go home.

Mr Alejandro FONT DE MORA TURÓN, Consejero de Presidencia de la Generalitat Valenciana, is hereby appointed an alternate member of the Committee of the Regions in place of Mr José RIPOLL SERRANO for the remainder of his term of office, which ends on 25 January 2006.

At the sitting of 27 May 1998 the President of Parliament announced that he had received a request for waiver of the immunity of Mr Jean-Marie Le Pen, forwarded by the Ministry of Justice of the Federal Republic of Germany on 17 April 1998 at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Munich I, and that he had referred it to the Committee on the Rules of Procedure, the Verification of Credentials and Immunities pursuant to Rule 6(1) of the Rules of Procedure.

Jean-Marie Le Pen, transmise par le Ministère de la Justice de la République fédérale allemande, en date du 17 avril 1998, sur requête du Ministère Public de Munich I, et qu'il l'avait renvoyée à la commission du règlement, de la vérification des pouvoirs et des immunités, conformément à l'article 6 paragraphe 1 du règlement.
