Coming here on the plane this morning, because of yesterday's events, I was thinking of Leonardo da Vinci and Michaelangelo and our new Pope, Benedict XVI. It occurred to me that under today's immigration requirements, neither Leonardo nor Michaelangelo could come to Canada to start an art school. They wouldn't meet the criteria.
Ce matin, je réfléchissais à cela en avion, et, à cause des événements d'hier, je pensais à Leonard de Vinci, à Michael-Ange et à notre nouveau pape, Benoît XVI. Je me suis dit que selon nos règles actuelles en matière d'immigration, ni Leonard ni Michael-Ange ne seraient autorisés à immigrer au Canada et à y fonder des écoles d'art, car ils ne répondraient pas à nos critères.
