By Council Regulation (EC) No 1528/2007 , the Republic of Botswana (Botswana), the Republic of Cameroon (Cameroon), the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire (Côte d'Ivoire), the Republic of Fiji (Fiji), the Republic of Ghana (Ghana), the Republic of Kenya (Kenya), the Republic of Namibia (Namibia) and the Kingdom of Swaziland (Swaziland), among others, are benefitting from a preferential market access arrangement which provides the same level of tariff preferences as, or better than, the GSP.
Conformément au règlement (UE) no 1528/2007 du Conseil , la République du Botswana (ci-après le «Botswana»), la République du Cameroun (ci-après le «Cameroun»), la République de Côte d'Ivoire (ci-après la «Côte d'Ivoire»), la République des Fidji (ci-après les «Fidji»), la République du Ghana (ci-après le «Ghana»), la République du Kenya (ci-après le «Kenya»), la République de Namibie (ci-après la «Namibie») et le Royaume du Swaziland (ci-après le «Swaziland»), entre autres, bénéficient d'un régime d'accès préférentiel au marché qui leur offre le même niveau de préférences tarifaires que le SPG, voire des conditions plus favorables.

Botswana, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Fiji, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia and Swaziland had not taken the necessary steps towards ratification of their respective Agreement and will consequently, in accordance with Article 2(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1528/2007, and in particular point (b) thereof, cease to be covered by the market access arrangement permitted under Regulation (EC) No 1528/2007, as from 1 October 2014. This results from Regulation (EU) No 527/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council (3).
Le Botswana, le Cameroun, la Côte d'Ivoire, les Fidji, le Ghana, le Kenya, la Namibie et le Swaziland n'avaient pas pris les mesures nécessaires en vue de la ratification de leurs accords respectifs; par conséquent, conformément à l'article 2, paragraphe 3, du règlement (CE) no 1528/2007, et notamment à son point b), ils cesseront d'être couverts par le régime d'accès au marché autorisé en vertu du règlement (CE) no 1528/2007 à compter du 1er octobre 2014, ainsi qu'il résulte du règlement (UE) no 527/2013 du Parlement européen et du Conseil (3).

As regards Regulation (EC) No 1528/2007, the Commission should be empowered to adopt the measures necessary for its implementation in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 182/2011.
