Nice is also an opportunity, however, because the announcement of the next IGC leaves the door open to a new phase in European integration, whose objectives are to respond to the demands of the citizens, to put an end to the democratic deficit, to implement the European social model, to intervene, with our own ideas, in globalisation, in order to regulate it, and to complete enlargement without turning the EU into a mere free trade area.
Mais Nice représente également une occasion car l’organisation d’une prochaine CIG laisse la porte ouverte à un nouveau cycle dans la construction européenne dont les objectifs sont de répondre aux demandes des citoyens, en finir avec le déficit démocratique, développer le modèle social européen, intervenir avec nos propres idées dans la mondialisation afin de la réglementer et mener à bien l’élargissement sans faire de l’UE une simple zone de libre-échange.
