TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Whilst drafting the amendments to the present proposal, apart from the newly established Lisbon Treaty and the EU legislation on the protection of human rights, the rapporteur took also into consideration recently adopted European legislation such as the newly adopted Visas Code, the Return Directive and the recent amendments to the regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Regulation (EC) No 2007/2004 establishing a European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union (FRONTEX) that offers new fields of action in order to improve the integrated management of the Union’s external borders.
Lors de la rédaction des amendements à la présente proposition, le rapporteur, outre le nouveau traité de Lisbonne et la législation de l'Union européenne sur la protection des droits de l'homme, a également pris en compte la législation européenne récemment adoptée, telle que le nouveau code des visas, la directive relative au retour des ressortissants de pays tiers en séjour irrégulier et les récents amendements au règlement du Parlement européen et du Conseil modifiant le règlement (CE) n° 2007/2004 du Conseil portant création d'une Agence européenne pour la gestion de la coopération opérationnelle aux frontières extérieures des États membres de l'Union européenne (Frontex), qui offre de nouveaux champs d'action pour améliorer la gestion intégrée des frontières extérieures de l'Union.

Welcomes the envisaged alignment of provisions of the MCC with the Treaty of Lisbon in terms of delegation of powers and granting of implementing powers; underlines that this new system is representative of a newly established balance between the European Parliament and the Council, especially as, with regard to delegated acts, the two institutions are placed on an equal footing;

The EU’s role as a global player has increased in recent decades and the newly established European External Action Service under the Lisbon Treaty could be instrumental in helping the Union to act more effectively to meet global challenges and to address human rights violations in a more coherent, consistent and efficient manner.
Le rôle de l’UE sur la scène mondiale a pris une certaine ampleur au cours des dernières décennies et le Service européen de l’action extérieure, nouvellement créé en vertu du traité de Lisbonne, pourrait se montrer décisif pour aider l’Union à agir plus efficacement en vue de relever les défis mondiaux et de s’attaquer aux violations des droits de l’homme avec plus de cohérence et d’efficacité.

14. Reiterates its conviction that the newly redefined Lisbon Strategy constitutes a vital instrument in the service of growth and employment and that only dynamic and coherent efforts to coordinate the three dimensions of the Lisbon Strategy and a pre-established medium-term governance cycle offer an approach conducive to the effective implementation of the ambitious national reform programmes and the Community's Lisbon programme; calls on each participant in that process to commit themselves fully to their respective tasks; undertakes to continue dialogue with the national parliaments and the Commission;
14. réaffirme sa conviction que la stratégie de Lisbonne nouvellement redéfinie constitue un instrument capital au service de la croissance et de l'emploi et que seuls des efforts dynamiques et cohérents en vue de coordonner les trois dimensions de la stratégie de Lisbonne ainsi qu'un cycle de gouvernance préétabli à moyen terme représentent une approche adéquate à la mise en œuvre effective de programmes nationaux de réforme ambitieux ainsi que du programme communautaire de Lisbonne; demande à chaque acteur de s'engager pleinement dans ses tâches respectives; s'engage pleinement à poursuivre le dialogue avec les parlements nationaux et la Commission;
