In his closing remarks, Vice-President MARIN expressed his belief that a new post-apartheid democratic South Africa can play an important role, together with its surrounding neighbouring states in southern Africa, to create a pole of development in this part of the African continent, which is so much in need of long term development.
Dans ses observations finales, le vice-président Marin a exprimé sa conviction qu'après l'abolition complète de l'apartheid, une nouvelle Afrique du Sud pourra jouer un rôle important, de concert avec ses voisins d'Afrique australe, en vue de créer un pôle de développement dans cette partie du continent africain qui a tant besoin d'un développement à long terme.
