Following the negociations which took place between the Commission and the Algerian authorities in January 1995 on the conditions applied to the release of the first tranche (100 MECU) and after consultation of the Monetary Committee, the Memorandum of Understanding, and the loan contract were signed by the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Bank of Algeria and on behalf of the Commission, by Mr de Silguy, Friday 12 May, in the presence of the Algeiran Ambassador in Brussels.
Suite aux négociations qui se sont déroulées en janvier 1995 entre les services de la Commission et les autorités algériennes sur les conditions devant s'appliquer à la 1ère tranche (100 MECU) et après consultation du Comité monétaire, le Protocole d'Accord et le contrat de Prêt relatifs à cette opération ont été signés par voie de courrier par le Ministre des Finances et le Gouverneur de la Banque centrale d'Algérie ainsi que, vendredi 12 mai, par M. de SILGUY au nom de la Commission, en présence de l'Ambassadeur d'Algérie à Bruxelles.
