4. déplore les graves irrégularités dans le procès de l'ancien président Mohamed Nasheed; demande à toutes les parties de travailler ensemble à la réparation des conséquences négatives de ces irrégularités en vue d'assurer la primauté de la justice dans un procès libre, équitable et transparent; invite les autorités judiciaires concernées à faciliter l'introduction d'un recours par M. Nasheed; insiste sur le fait que si M. Nasheed fait appel de sa condamnation, ses droits devront être pleinement respectés, conformément aux obligations internationales des Maldives, à sa Constitution et aux normes internationales; demande instamment à la délégation de l'Union au Sri Lanka et aux Maldives de suivre de près la procédure d'appel;

Calls on the judicial authorities concerned to facilitate the lodging of an appeal by Ex-President Nasheed and calls on Mr Nasheed to exhaust the existing legal options at full; insists that should his conviction be appealed, the former President’s rights must be fully respected in line with the Maldives’ international obligations and international standards; urges the EU Delegation to Sri Lanka and the Maldives to follow closely the appeal process;
5. invite les autorités judiciaires concernées à faciliter l'introduction d'un recours par l'ex-président Nasheed et invite M. Nasheed à épuiser toutes les options juridiques existantes; insiste sur le fait que si l'ancien président fait appel de sa condamnation, ses droits devront être pleinement respectés en conformité avec les obligations internationales incombant aux Maldives et les normes internationales; demande instamment à la délégation de l'Union au Sri Lanka et aux Maldives de suivre de près la procédure d'appel;
