Attention was drawn to the fact that the agreement between the EU and Morocco would rest on the four pillars agreed in March 1992, namely: - political dialogue, - economic, scientific, social and cultural cooperation, - the gradual establishment of a free-trade area, - financial cooperation. The Moroccans too outlined in detail what they hoped the future agreement would bring.
Il a été notamment rappelé que le futur accord UE/Maroc reposerait effectivement sur les quatre piliers conjointement définis dès le mois de mars 1992, à savoir : - un dialogue politique - une coopération économique, scientifique, sociale et culturelle - l'établissement progressif d'une zone de libre-échange - une coopération financière La partie marocaine a également fait une présentation détaillée de ses attentes au titre du futur accord.
