On the question of the sums available for heating (in the absence of fuel and even boilers), refurbishing buildings and food aid, the Commission is taking the necessary steps to release ECU 6 million and has indicated to the Romanian authorities that it is prepared to allocate some ECU 20 million from the counterpart fund resulting from the sale of foodstuffs supplied at the beginning of the year.
