As an MEP from Gdansk, the birthplace of the Solidarity Movement, I await this vote with hope, and the reason for this is obvious. The strong position the House has adopted this time will have a far-reaching impact on future annual budgets, but above all on the 2007-2013 Financial Perspective.
En ma qualité de député de Gdansk, le lieu de naissance de Solidarnosc, j’attends ce vote rempli d’espoir, pour une raison évidente: la position ferme que cette Assemblée a adoptée cette fois-ci aura un impact énorme sur les budgets annuels à venir, mais surtout sur les perspectives financières 2007 - 2013.
