...[+++]cy in the Community; WELCOMES the recommendations made in that communication; REAFFIRMS the need to achieve self-sufficiency in blood and its derivatives in the Member States and the Community, in particular through co-operation between Member States, in accordance with the principle of voluntary, unpaid blood donations; AGREES on the need periodically to update, where appropriate in liaison with the Council of Europe, the studies carried out by the Community regarding blood donations and the availability and use of blood and its derivatives, and on the need to examine the possible consequences for self-sufficiency in blood and derived products in the Community of the emergence of substitute medicinal products; (3) OJ L 181, 28.6.1989, p. 44. ...[+++] sang dans la Communauté ; ACCUEILLE favorablement les recommandations formulées dans cette communication ; REAFFIRME la nécessité de parvenir à l'autosuffisance en sang et produits dérivés dans les Etats membres et la Communauté, notamment par le biais d'une coopération entre les Etats membres, dans le respect du principe du don volontaire et non rémunéré de sang ; CONVIENT de la nécessité d'actualiser périodiquement, en liaison, le cas échéant, avec le Conseil de l'Europe, les études menées par la Communauté sur le don de sang et sur la disponibilité et l'utilisation du sang et de ses dérivés, ainsi que de la nécessité d'examiner les conséquences que pourrait avoir sur l'autosuffisance en sang et produits dérivés dans la Communauté l'apparition de médicaments de substitution ; (3) JO n° L 181 du 28.6.1989, p. 44.
