The Single Market Act aims to address these barriers and at the same time to renew confidence in the single market. The confidence of businesses, workers, investors and consumers that they will all benefit from a single market that gives rise to a highly competitive social market economy.

70. Urges the Commission and the Member States to give priority to the adoption of the 12 key actions of the Single Market Act, as an important contribution to strengthening the Single Market in a comprehensive and balanced manner;

Recalls that Article 14 of the TFEU calls on the European Parliament and the Council to lay down in regulations the principles and conditions for the services of general economic interest (SGEI) to achieve their mission of public service; regrets that the communication on the Single Market act does not give more importance to local authorities, which play an essential role in the single market at the economic and social levels. Recalls that Protocol 26 annexed to the TFEU guarantees a wide discretional capacity to organise, manage and finance the SGEI, and asks the Commission to guarantee the application of these Treaty provisions;
11. rappelle que l'article 14 du traité FUE invite le Parlement européen et le Conseil à établir, par voie de règlements, les principes et les conditions qui permettent aux services d'intérêt économique général d'accomplir leurs missions de service public; regrette que la communication sur l'Acte pour le marché unique ne donne pas plus d'importance aux autorités locales, lesquelles jouent un rôle essentiel sur le marché unique, aux plans économique et social; rappelle que le protocole 26 annexé au traité FUE garantit un large pouvoir discrétionnaire pour organiser, gérer et financer les services d'intérêt économique général, et demande à la Commission de veiller à l'application de ces dispositions du traité;

15. Regrets that the Communication on the Single Market Act does not give more importance to local authorities, which play an essential role in the single market at the economic and social level; recalls that Protocol 26, annexed to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, guarantees a wide discretional capacity to organise, manage and finance services of general economic interest (SGEI); asks the Commission to take initiatives to guarantee the application of this protocol;
15. regrette que la communication sur l'acte pour le marché unique n'accorde pas davantage d'importance aux collectivités locales, lesquelles jouent un rôle essentiel aux niveaux économique et social dans le marché unique; rappelle que le protocole 26 annexé au traité sur le fonctionnement de l'Union européenne garantit un large pouvoir discrétionnaire pour organiser, gérer et financer des services d'intérêt économique général (SIEG); invite la Commission à prendre des initiatives pour garantir l'application de ce protocole;

3. Where a competent authority is convinced that acts contrary to the provisions of this Directive are being, or have been, carried out on the territory of another Member State or that acts are affecting financial instruments traded on a regulated market situated in another Member State, it shall give notice of that fact in as specific a manner as possible to the competent authority of the other Member State.

Lorsqu'une autorité compétente a la conviction que des actes enfreignant les dispositions de la présente directive sont ou ont été accomplis sur le territoire d'un autre État membre, ou que des actes portent atteinte à des instruments financiers négociés sur un marché réglementé situé dans un autre État membre, elle en informe l'autorité compétente de cet autre État membre d'une manière aussi détaillée que possible.
