Mr. Manning (Calgary Southwest), seconded by Mr. McClelland (Edmonton Southwest), moved, That this House condemn the government for requiring Canadians to pay over 70% more in CPP premiums, thus increasing payroll taxes that are a cancer on job creation, while refusing to eliminate the huge subsidy that those same Canadians must pay to maintain the gold-plated MP pension plan.
