The amendment, made pursuant to Article 7(1)(a) and 7a(1) of Regulation (EC) No 881/2002, adds the names of Salim Mustafa Muhammad Al-Mansur, Umar Mahmud Irhayyim Al-Kubaysi and Al-Kawthar Money Exchange to the list in Annex I of that Regulation (“Annex I”).
La modification, effectuée conformément à l’article 7, paragraphe 1, point a), et à l’article 7 bis, paragraphe 1, du règlement (CE) no 881/2002, porte sur l’ajout de MM. L. whereas the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmud Abbas, has stated his intention to set a timetable through the UN to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory within three years; whereas the Arab League has supported this plan of action and has called for an international conference aiming to seek a final settlement on the basis of the Arab Peace Initiative;
L. considérant que Mahmoud Abbas, président de l'Autorité palestinienne, a déclaré son intention de fixer un calendrier, par l'intermédiaire des Nations unies, pour mettre un terme à l'occupation israélienne des territoires palestiniens en l'espace de trois ans; considérant que la Ligue arabe soutient ce plan d'action et a demandé la convocation d'une conférence internationale pour rechercher une solution définitive sur la base de l'initiative de paix arabe;

25. Commends the fact that, even before publication of the Road Map on 30 April, the Palestinian Authority had embarked on some of the institutional reforms called for by the Quartet and by Israel, such as reform of the Palestinian Ministry for Finance, and the creation of the post of prime minister and at the same time regrets that the Prime Minister, Mahmud Abbas, who had been appointed with the full support of all Palestine’s institutions, including the Legislative Council, has resigned; calls on the Palestinian Authority to pursue these reforms and urges the Palestinian Authority to do everything in its power to enable the prime minister to perform his duties; states its intention to invite the Palestinian Prime Minister to appear at a meeting of its committee responsible as soon as possible;
25. félicite l'autorité palestinienne pour avoir, bien avant la publication de la feuille de route le 30 avril dernier, entamé les réformes institutionnelles exigées par le Quartet et même Israël, par exemple la réforme du ministère palestinien des finances et la création du poste de Premier ministre et regrette parallèlement que Mahmoud Abbas, Premier ministre en poste bénéficiant du soutien intégral de l'ensemble des institutions palestiniennes, y compris du conseil législatif, ait présenté sa démission et lance un appel à l'autorité palestinienne pour qu'elle continue sur la voie de ces réformes; invite le Premier ministre palestinien à s'exprimer devant le Parlement européen dès que possible;
