The Miramichi compulsory pilotage area consists of all the navigable waters within a line drawn from Pointe Morin to the north end of Portage Island, THENCE, on a bearing of 114° (True) to a position at Latitude 47°07′30″N., Longitude 64°47′00″W. and THENCE, on a bearing of 191° (True) to Point Escuminac Light.

La zone de pilotage obligatoire de Miramichi comprend toutes les eaux navigables en deçà d’une ligne tirée à partir de la pointe Morin jusqu’à l’extrémité nord de l’île Portage et DE LÀ, sur un relèvement de 114° (V) jusqu’à un point situé par 47°07′30″ de latitude N. et 64°47′00″ de longitude O., et DE LÀ, sur un relèvement de 191° (V) jusqu’au feu de la pointe Escuminac.
