Over my career, I was a specialist in anything from mining to securities, dealing with institutional accounts to large public companies; and while all of that took place, probably 50 per cent of my practice involved small-business people, including professionals, doctors, lawyers, manufacturers and trucking firms, and ranged from the hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales to $25 million and $30 million in sales of private companies.
