As the programming exercise is coming to an end, the Commission will carry out a number of actions to help ensure an efficient use of Structural Funds earmarked for the information society and the knowledge-based economy and for improving synergies between the IST-Programme and the Structural Funds as a follow-up to the conference on "The Information Society and Economic, Social and Territorial Cohesion" in Lyon, in December 2000.

Transposition des résultats cliniques en pratiques cliniques: créer les bases de connaissances pour le processus de décision clinique et la manière dont les résultats de la recherche clinique sont transposés en pratique clinique, en étudiant en particulier la sécurité des patients et la meilleure utilisation des médicaments (y compris certains aspects de la pharmacovigilance et de médicaments complémentaires et de substitution testés scientifiquement), ainsi que les spécificités des enfants, des femmes et des personnes âgées.
