Mr. Speaker, I have a petition signed by dozens of Canadians, particularly out of the Toronto area, declaring their opposition to the Enbridge northern gateway pipeline, a pipeline that would carry raw bitumen 1,100 kilometres from the Alberta oil sands across a bit of Alberta but mostly British Columbia to the B.C. coast, where it would then be put in supertankers.
Monsieur le Président, je souhaite présenter une pétition signée par des dizaines de Canadiens vivant principalement dans la région de Toronto qui s'opposent au projet d'oléoduc Northern Gateway d'Enbridge, un oléoduc qui transporterait du bitume brut sur 1 100 kilomètres, à partir des sites d'exploitation de sables bitumineux, en Alberta, et qui parcourrait une partie du territoire albertain, mais surtout celui de la Colombie-Britannique, jusqu'à la côte britanno-colombienne, où le bitume brut serait chargé dans des superpétroliers.
