Ms. Judith Bellis began her testimony by explaining the role of the Section, which is to provide legal and policy advice to the Minister and the Deputy Minister of the Department of Justice, as well as to the central agencies and all other government departments with respect to any matter that arises relating to the provincial and federal superior courts and judiciary.
