The kind of folks who will be affected by this bill — people who are working, contributing, whose employer was contributing — who then found themselves in prison for a period of time and hence, based on this bill, would not retain the eligibility for which they had contributed and been eligible until that moment, in my view — and we will disagree on this — that is a principle that is offensi
ve to the notion of John Diefenbaker and his Progressive Conservative government,
