Comme chacun le sait, ce projet avait été approuvé par le Parlement européen de l’époque à une très large majorité.

We fully approve his condemnation of Slovenian nazi and fascist oppression which he expressed in his speech before the European Parliament yesterday, but we cannot accept his failure to condemn the horror of anti-Italian ethnic cleansing perpetrated by the Communist regime immediately after it came to power.
