The EESC agrees with the EU institutions that the Mediterranean region has for a very long time been in a state of constant tension owing to the Israel-Palestine conflict, which impedes every attempt at dialogue or joint action, and it calls on the HR/VP to continue her intensive efforts to find a mutually acceptable solution.
