By letters dated 26, 27 and 28 July 2011, five road haulage companies and representative associations (LKW Walter Internationale Transportorganisation AG, Youngs Transportation Logistics Ltd, Laser Transport International Limited, Carna Transport Ltd and Road Haulage association international group) communicated their comments to the Commission.
Par lettres des 26, 27 et 28 juillet 2011, cinq entreprises de transport routier et associations représentatives (LKW Walter Internationale Transportorganisation AG, Youngs Transportation Logistics Ltd, Laser Transport International Limited, Carna Transport Ltd et Road Haulage association international group) ont communiqué leurs observations à la Commission.

12. Welcomes, furthermore, the new horizontal obligations created by the Treaty of Lisbon to combat social exclusion and discrimination and to promote social justice and protection, equality between men and women, respect for private and family life, solidarity between generations and protection of the rights of the child, and to develop a common policy on asylum and immigration and combat trafficking in human beings, as well as its explicit reference to persons belonging to minorities, which reflects another founding value of the Union; welcomes the fact that the Union has acquired legal personality allowing it to accede to international treaties, the improvement in judicial protection with the extension of the jurisdiction of the CJ to areas of obvious relevance to the protection of fundamental rights, such as police and judicial cooperation in the field of criminal law, the strengthened role of the European Parliament and national parliaments in the European decision-making process, especially in evaluating the implementation of EU policy in the AFSJ, the increased role of European citizens, now invested with the power to initiate EU legislation through the European Citizens' Initiative, and the obligation to maintain an open, transparent and regular dialogue with representative associations and civil society (Article 11(2) TEU);
12. se félicite par ailleurs des nouvelles obligations introduites par le traité de Lisbonne en ce qui concerne la lutte contre l'exclusion sociale et la discrimination ainsi que la promotion de la justice et de la protection sociale, l'égalité entre hommes et femmes, le respect de la vie privée et familiale, la solidarité entre les générations et la protection des droits de l'enfant, une politique commune d'asile et d'immigration, la lutte contre le trafic des êtres humains ainsi que les références explicites, contenues dans le traité, aux personnes faisant partie de minorités, laquelle reflète une autre valeur fondamentale de l'Union; se félicite en outre de ce que l'Union a acquis la personnalité juridique, ce qui lui permet d'adhérer à des traités internationaux, de l'amélioration de la protection juridictionnelle à travers l'extension de la juridiction de la Cour à des domaines incontestablement importants sous l'angle de la protection des droits fondamentaux, par exemple la coopération policière et judiciaire dans le domaine du droit pénal, le rôle renforcé du Parlement européen et des parlements nationaux dans le processus décisionnel européen, en particulier par l'évaluation de la mise en œuvre de la politique de l'UE dans l'espace de liberté, de sécurité et de justice et le rôle accru des citoyens européens, désormais habilités à réclamer une mesure législative de l'UE à travers l'initiative citoyenne, ainsi que de l'obligation d'entretenir un dialogue ouvert, transparent et régulier avec des associations représentatives et la société civile (article 11, paragraphe 2, du traité UE);

The complainants, importers and exporters and their representative associations, users and consumer organisations, which have made themselves known in accordance with Article 5(10), as well as the representatives of the exporting country may, upon written request, inspect all information made available by any party to an investigation, as distinct from internal documents prepared by the authorities of the Community or its Member States, which is relevant to the presentation of their cases and not confidential within the meaning of Article 19, and that it is used in the investigation.
7. Les plaignants, les importateurs et les exportateurs ainsi que leurs associations représentatives, les utilisateurs et les associations des consommateurs qui se sont fait connaître conformément à l'article 5, paragraphe 10, ainsi que les représentants du pays exportateur, peuvent, sur demande écrite, prendre connaissance de tous les renseignements fournis par toute partie concernée par l'enquête, mis à part les documents internes établis par les autorités de la Communauté ou de ses États membres, pour autant que ces renseignements soient pertinents pour la défense de leurs intérêts, qu'ils ne soient pas confidentiels au sens de l'article 19 et qu'ils soient utilisés dans l'enquête.

The complainants, the government of the country of origin and/or export, importers and exporters and their representative associations, users and consumer organisations, which have made themselves known in accordance with the second subparagraph of Article 10(12), may, upon written request, inspect all information made available to the Commission by any party to an investigation, as distinct from internal documents prepared by the authorities of the Community or its Member States, which is relevant to the presentation of their cases and is not confidential within the meaning of Article 29, and is used in the investigation.

se félicite de la proposition de la Commission d'organiser une conférence réunissant l'UEFA, l'Association européenne des ligues professionnelles (EPFL), la Fédération internationale des footballeurs professionnels (FIFPro), ainsi que des associations et des instances nationales organisant des matches de football professionnel afin de discuter des systèmes de licence et des bonnes pratiques dans ce domaine spécifique; demande à la Commission d'inviter à cette conférence d'autres associations représentatives concernées.
