The true and deep concern I have in this debate is that for the government to secure some sort of improved relations with our American neighbours, which we all want to see, for that so-called victory it has signed a deal that allows Washington to interfere with provincial regulations on how we cut our own wood.
Ma véritable et profonde inquiétude dans ce débat, c'est que, pour assurer de meilleures relations avec nos voisins américains, ce que nous voulons tous, le gouvernement a signé un accord qu'il considère comme une victoire, mais qui autorise Washington à intervenir dans l'élaboration de notre réglementation provinciale concernant la façon dont nous abattons notre bois.
