TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

When providing workers and employers with basic information concerning the EURES portal and the EURES network, the EURES Members and, where relevant, the EURES Partners should put in place effective access to support services under this Regulation, not only by ensuring that such services are available on the explicit request of an individual worker or employer, but also, where appropriate, by providing, on their own initiative, information about EURES to workers and employers on the occasion of their first contact (‘mainstreaming EURES’), and by proactively offering assistance in this area throughout the recruitment process.

The application and monitoring of the Union rules on the free movement of workers should be improved to ensure that Union workers and members of their family as well as employers, public authorities, and other persons concerned are better informed about free movement rights and responsibilities, to assist and to protect Union workers and members of their family in the exercise of those rights, and to combat circumvention of those rules by public authorities and public or private employers.

(3) Member States shall ensure that information concerning workers who have been exposed to spent fuel or radioactive waste during their work is stored, either by the licence-holder or by a State body, so as to enable work-related diseases to be followed up in the long term.
