Mr Sutherland was chosen for the award by a jury composed of prominent French legal and economic personalities, including Professor Roland Drago of the Sorbonne University, Mr Jacques Biancorelli of the Crédit Lyonnais and Mr Michel Massenet, a member of the Conseil d'Etat.
