Airports being entry and exit points to the network are key contributors to overall network performance, therefore the network functions should liaise through the Union observatory on airports capacity with airport operators acting as ground coordinators with the objective to optimise capacity on the ground, thus improving the overall network capacity.
Les aéroports, en tant que points d’entrée sur le réseau ou de sortie du réseau, jouent un rôle déterminant dans les performances globales du réseau, si bien que les fonctions de réseau devraient se concerter, par l’intermédiaire de l’observatoire des capacités aéroportuaires de l’Union, avec les exploitants d’aéroport assurant la coordination au sol afin d’optimiser les capacités au sol et, partant, d’améliorer la capacité globale du réseau.
